National Geographic FCU is continuing its efforts to reduce costs and practice environmentally friendly procedures. After a lengthy trial period of providing statements electronically and considering the increase cost of mailing paper statements, the staff and board of directors agreed to mail the last statement in December 2011. Effective January 1, 2012, a $2.00 per month fee will apply to any member receiving paper statements. Since 2006 many members have signed up for free electronic access. Electronic access allows you to retrieve account balances , print statements, review activity ,and transfer funds between accounts.
